Mass grave found on the Askeran-Khojaly road
In April, two mass graves were found in the liberated territories, one of which contained the remains of at least 7 people - on the Askeran-Khojaly road.
As Report informs, this was stated by the deputy head of the working group of the State Commission on Prisoners of War and Missing Citizens, Eldar Samedov.
Samedov emphasized that according to experts' conclusions, the remains belong to civilians who went missing during the First Karabakh War.
The second mass grave, according to Samedov, was found near the city of Shusha, at the intersection of the Shusha-Khankendi and Shusha-Lachin roads. "Here, the remains of at least 5 people were found. The burial site was discovered during construction work. The remains have already been exhumed," he said.
