Milli Mejlis approved fines in the final reading for those who make payments in cash for enforcement proceedings.

BAKU.WS reports that the corresponding amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses, laws "On Bailiffs", "On Enforcement", "On Mortgage" and "On Non-Cash Payments" were discussed at today's plenary session of the Milli Mejlis in the third reading.

According to the amendments, officials will be fined from 500 to 1000 manats for accepting cash funds, enforcement payments and expenses related to enforcement actions, as well as for paying funds to the collector or debtor in cash.

From now on, all funds for enforcement documents, enforcement payments and expenses related to enforcement actions must be paid exclusively in non-cash form.

In addition, the receipt and payment of funds for enforcement documents, enforcement payments, as well as payment of expenses related to enforcement actions, will be made only in non-cash form through the deposit accounts of the enforcement service.

When carrying out operations on the deposit account of the enforcement service, it is necessary to indicate the registration number of the corresponding enforcement proceeding. Payments without such a number are not allowed.

It is reported that the collector must provide the bailiff with information about the bank account to which funds will be transferred from the deposit account of the enforcement service. If the collector does not provide this information, the bailiff, within 3 working days after the funds are received in the deposit account, notifies the collector and gives the bank instructions to pay these funds to the collector based on their request. Expenses related to cashing out funds are paid by the collector.

Banking documents confirming transfers to and from the deposit account of the enforcement service are attached by the bailiff to the enforcement proceedings.

After discussions, the bill was put to a vote and adopted in the final reading.
