Israel has requested assistance from Azerbaijan in extinguishing forest fires

Israel requested help from 13 countries to extinguish forest fires near Jerusalem.
As reported by EFE, this was announced by Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar.
"In recent hours, I have communicated with colleagues from Azerbaijan, Argentina, Great Britain, Greece, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Portugal, North Macedonia, France, Croatia, Czech Republic, and Sweden, and requested their assistance in providing air support (for extinguishing forest fires)," the agency quotes his words.
Note that forest fires broke out west of Jerusalem on Wednesday morning and quickly got out of control. Authorities had to evacuate residents from several settlements and block several roads. In Israeli cities such as Ashkelon, Beer Sheva, Modiin, etc., Independence Day celebrations were canceled due to weather conditions.
