18 cm of snow fell in Azerbaijan

As of 10:00 on February 16, weather conditions in the country remained mostly precipitation-free, however, during the first half of February 15, some areas experienced periodic precipitation.
As reported to Baku.ws by the National Hydrometeorological Service, it was snowing in mountainous regions. Snow cover depth was: in Lerik - 18 cm, in Gryzy - 16 cm, in Shahdag - 9 cm, in Shahbuz - 7 cm, in Dashkesan - 3 cm, in Gusar (Laza) - 2 cm, in Khaltan and Yardimli - 1 cm.
Western wind was blowing. According to the "yellow" warning, its speed reached 18 m/s in Sadarak, Dashkesan and Gobustan, in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula it increased to 15 m/s.
Fog is observed in Nakhchivan, Sharur, Dashkesan, Gedabey, Balakan, Sheki, Gabala, Shamakhi, Gobustan, Khaltan, Yevlakh, Goychay, Zardab, Jafarkhan, Lerik and Agdam. Visibility in fog is limited to 500-1000 meters.
The minimum air temperature was: in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula - 6°C above zero, in Aran regions - up to 4°C above zero, in Nakhchivan AR - down to -8°C, in mountainous regions - down to -14°C.
