Another episode of the "Chronicle of Western Azerbaijan" project in Russian was aired on Baku TV.

As reported by BAKU.WS, writer and journalist Elchin Shikhly was the guest of host Ellada Sarvan.

He shared his observations regarding the political and geographical significance of Western Azerbaijan, its influence on the geopolitics of our region, Armenian terrorism, vandalism, and falsifications. E. Shikhly noted that the PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) has laid down its arms, but despite this, it is difficult to say with certainty that our region is now free from terrorist organizations such as ASALA and PKK.

According to the journalist, Armenians have always carried out deportations and genocide against Azerbaijanis: "Although we are from the Gazakh district bordering Armenia, we are well familiar with the climate of Western Azerbaijan. We need unhindered passage from Azerbaijan to our native Nakhchivan. The Middle Corridor is very important not only for the Turkic world but for everyone. Europeans fear that Turks, by uniting, will go to the West. Azerbaijan plays an important role among Turkic states."

E. Shikhly also shared his opinion on Armenia's current policy.

"Armenian society today is divided into two parts: supporters of the peace process and supporters of revanchism. As long as Armenians teach their children that Turks are enemies, revanchist sentiments are unlikely to cease. Today's policy of our state will be successful, and the return of Western Azerbaijanis to their homeland will become a reality. The main question is whether official Yerevan will grant citizenship to Azerbaijanis who return to their homeland. How long will the Armenian leadership prevent our return to our native lands?! Of course, we will go to Western Azerbaijan not on tanks, but in cars," the writer concluded.
