Azerbaijan Railways will operate in enhanced mode during the holidays

All structures of CJSC "Azerbaijan Railways" (ADY) will operate in an enhanced mode during the holidays - from March 20 to 31.

This was reported by the joint-stock company.

According to the information, in order to ensure uninterrupted and safe transportation of passengers and cargo, technical inspections of vehicles were carried out, and regular raids and route checks were organized.

Taking into account the increased passenger demand, 26 additional trains on the Baku-Agstafa-Baku route and 20 on the Baku-Gabala-Baku route have been scheduled from March 20 to 31.

Trains on these routes will run daily in both directions. During the holidays, the additionally scheduled high-speed train will depart from Baku to Agstafa at 09:15, and from Agstafa to Baku at 17:00.

Trains on the Baku-Gabala-Baku route will also run daily from Baku to Gabala at 07:30, and from Gabala to Baku at 19:00.

On the Baku-Balakyan-Baku line, an increase in the number of carriages is planned according to passenger needs. The train departs daily from Baku to Balakyan at 23:50, and from Balakyan to Baku at 22:00.

From March 20 to 31, trains on the Absheron ring railway line will follow the weekend schedule. In accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers' decision, on April 1, trains will run according to the working day schedule.
