The Heydar Aliyev Foundation organized a celebration for children

As every year, on the eve of the Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis around the world and the New Year, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation organized a festive event for children in need of special care.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to AZERTAJ, the event was attended by the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, Arzu Aliyeva, and Alyona Aliyeva.

Residents of children's homes and boarding schools, children with disabilities and special needs, as well as children of martyrs were invited to the festive event called "New Year's Miracle".

Fairy tale characters greeted the children at the "Gulustan" palace, which was decorated in a festive atmosphere. With the help of face art, children also had the opportunity to transform into their favorite fairy tale heroes and characters.

The celebration began with the showing of a video. Footage depicting the care of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev for the younger generation, and how in different years he celebrated the Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis around the world and the New Year with children was watched with great interest. The video also presents highlights of meetings between President Ilham Aliyev and the first lady of Azerbaijan, president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva with children.

The entertainment scenes presented to the children are based on ideas of friendship, kindness, and mutual assistance. They demonstrate that sincere and kind-hearted people always prevail.

In the palace filled with New Year's mood, children celebrated the holiday surrounded by famous artists, favorite fairy tale and cartoon characters, dancing and singing songs.

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation, under the leadership of the First Vice-President of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva, pays special attention to solving the problems of children deprived of parental care, children with disabilities, as well as children of martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. The Foundation strives to surround children with care and attention. The traditional New Year celebrations of the Foundation are organized precisely to bring joy to these children.

Over twenty-one years, thousands of children in need of care and support have participated in the New Year celebrations held by the foundation.

At the end of the entertainment program, the children were presented with gifts from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
