The Deceptive Calm in the Middle East: Who Benefits from Instability in the Region?
News related to the standoff between the American-Israeli tandem and Iran, as well as the negotiation process, continues to concern the entire world.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this is stated in a video material by Baku TV.
The fact that the parties, often declaring their proximity to an agreement, switch back to the language of threats just hours later, gives rise to the same questions: why is peace not being established in the Middle East, and who benefits from regional instability?
Months pass under slogans like "peace is almost here" and "an agreement will be reached soon," but there are still no real results. Apparently, behind the rhetoric of "deterrence" and "preventive security" that the US, Israel, and Iran have been using for decades, there are deeper geopolitical realities.
The authoritative Carnegie think tank asserts that key players derive direct benefit from armed conflicts in the Middle East. Such "forever wars" strengthen political control through constant pressure and bring enormous economic profits to a narrow circle of individuals. At the same time, it is obvious that regional leaders do not take into account the aspirations of peoples and the broader masses for peace.
