Leyla Aliyeva familiarized herself with the works of the first Bukhara Biennale

As part of the state visit of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Uzbekistan, Leyla Aliyeva on August 24 viewed a selection of works from the first Bukhara Biennale of Contemporary Art.

As reported by AZERTAC, the Bukhara Biennale is organized by the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan.

Held for the first time in 2025, the Bukhara Biennale has become one of the largest cultural events in Central Asia.

Currently, a selection of works displayed at the first biennale is once again on exhibit in Bukhara. The exposition features approximately 70 works by local and international artists. The second Bukhara Biennale of Contemporary Art is planned for 2027.
