Haber Global reported on the historic visit of Ilham Aliyev to Uzbekistan

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is on a historic visit to Uzbekistan. The Azerbaijani leader has been awarded the "Dustlik" order of the highest degree of Uzbekistan.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in a report by the Turkish TV channel Haber Global.

"In Azerbaijan, everyone knows that the first president to provide us with assistance in the reconstruction of Karabakh was Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the first country was Uzbekistan," the TV channel quoted the head of state as saying.

As noted in the report, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that being awarded the order bearing the name of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev holds enormous significance for him.
