Hikmet Hajiyev awarded the Order of Merit III degree of Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky awarded the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Administration of the Head of State Hikmet Hajiyev with the Order of Merit, III degree.
As reported by Report, Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan Yurii Husev wrote about this on his page on the social network X.
According to the diplomat, Zelensky bestowed state awards on a number of international partners of Ukraine.
"Among those awarded is the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev, who has been awarded the Order of Merit, III degree. We congratulate him and express our gratitude for the cooperation," the ambassador wrote.
The decree on awarding Hikmet Hajiyev the order has also been published on the website of the President of Ukraine.
According to the document, Hajiyev and a number of officials from other countries have been honored with the high award for their significant personal contribution to strengthening interstate cooperation, supporting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, etc.
It should be noted that the Order of Merit is a state award of Ukraine, established in 1996. It is awarded to citizens of Ukraine and foreign nationals for outstanding achievements in economy, science, culture, military service, charitable activities, and the development of interstate cooperation.
