President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier visited the Alley of Martyrs

President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Büdenbender visited the Alley of Martyrs in Baku.

As AZERTAJ reports, the guests respectfully honored the memory of the heroic sons of the Homeland who gave their lives in the struggle for independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Steinmeier laid a wreath at the "Eternal Flame" monument.

Then Steinmeier and his wife, who admired the capital from the highest point of Baku, were provided with information about the history of the Alley of Martyrs and the improvement works being carried out in the city.
