President Ilham Aliyev presented the "Istiglal" order to Yagub Eyubov

On October 22, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Yagub Eyubov and presented him with the "Istiglal" order.

As reported by BAKU.WS, welcoming Yagub Eyubov, President Ilham Aliyev said:

- Dear Yagub muallim, first of all, I congratulate you on your upcoming anniversary and wish you good health and new successes. Working for many years in various responsible positions, you have contributed to the development of Azerbaijan. I highly appreciate this. Both you and I know that the great leader Heydar Aliyev always showed attention to you. In the 70s of the last century, he appointed you, a young professional, to responsible positions, placing great trust in you. You have worthily justified this trust. That is why during the period of independence, when the great leader came to power in 1993 at the request of the people, he again trusted you by appointing you to a number of responsible positions. By his Order, you were appointed to a high position - First Deputy Prime Minister, and since then you have been working in this post. During the 22-year period of my presidency, I have also repeatedly placed trust in you, reappointing you to the same position after each presidential election. Today, while presenting you with this state award, I want to say that I am satisfied with your work. You serve the state and the Motherland faithfully with all your heart and soul. You are always demanding of yourself in your work and worthily fulfill my instructions. Taking into account your great merits, I have awarded you the highest award of the Azerbaijani state - the "Istiglal" order. Allow me to present you with this high order.

While presenting Yagub Eyubov with the "Istiglal" order, President Ilham Aliyev said:

Expressing gratitude to the head of state for the high appreciation of his activities, Yagub Eyubov shared memories of national leader Heydar Aliyev. He said that he always tried to justify the trust placed in him by the Great Leader and President Ilham Aliyev. Noting that it was under the leadership of the head of our state that the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan were fully restored, Yagub Eyubov said: "You are a great personality who returned the lands of Azerbaijan. No one else could have done this, it was impossible. You are a wonderful, brilliant person with enormous abilities. That is why the entire people, the whole world sees you and is proud of you."

Emphasizing that being awarded the "Istiglal" order is a great honor for him, Yagub Eyubov noted: "I will never forget this and will try to the best of my ability, as long as there is an opportunity, to serve you and our state."
