JOYFUL NEWS for those expecting a baby: 1,500 manats will be paid

A sharp increase in the childbirth benefit is projected.

As reported by Oxu.Az, this issue was reflected in the draft law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027," which was brought up for discussion at today's session of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship.

According to the draft, next year the amount paid upon the birth of a child is envisaged at 1,500 manats.

It should be noted that in 2026 this amount was 600 manats. This means an increase of 900 manats.
