Iran's Ambassador commented on the footage distributed by the Sahar Azəri television channel

Relations between Azerbaijan and Iran should develop. We are neighboring and kindred peoples, we have common interests in various spheres. We should strive for cooperation that will ensure the interests of both countries and peoples, using all available opportunities.

The diplomat also answered a question about information disseminated by the Sahar Azəri TV channel, according to which a rally was allegedly held in Turkey "in support of Azerbaijani women in hijab."

"We should strive to ensure that various news and events do not have a negative impact on our relations. Honestly, due to meetings with delegations, I have not seen this news. However, I agree that disinformation should not negatively affect our relations. We should eliminate factors that hinder the strengthening of ties. Our common interests can only be ensured through mutual understanding between the two countries," the ambassador noted.
