A man of Armenian origin, who staged a provocation in Khankendi and wounded a police officer, gave an interview to Baku TV a year ago.
As reported by BAKU.WS, Karen Avanesyan in his interview emphasized that he received Azerbaijani citizenship at the age of 16. However, 30 years ago, the mafia seized Khankendi. After that, Azerbaijanis were evicted from their native lands, and the mafia changed the passports of those who remained.
"I am not a citizen of Armenia, I am an Azerbaijani," said K. Avanesyan.
