Haber Global reported on Ilham Aliyev's state visit to Tashkent

The Haber Global TV channel prepared a report on the state visit of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the capital of Uzbekistan, the city of Tashkent.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the report notes that an honor guard was lined up at the "Tashkent-Humo" international airport in honor of President Ilham Aliyev.

It is reported that President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were welcomed by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his spouse Ziroatkhon Mirziyoyeva.

According to the information, Ilham Aliyev is expected to participate in the third session of the Supreme Interstate Council.

It is also reported that prior to the visit, the President of Azerbaijan gave an interview to Uzbek media, in which he noted that the joint efforts of the two countries aimed at resolving various issues are receiving positive assessment, and emphasized the importance of the Organization of Turkic States in this context.
