The final planning conference of the computer-assisted command-staff exercise Eternity-2026, conducted with the participation of military personnel from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia, has concluded.

As reported to BAKU.WS by the Ministry of Defense, at the conference organized in accordance with the trilateral military cooperation plan, the exercise scenario, tactical assignments, as well as logistics and comprehensive support issues for the participating personnel were agreed upon.

The main objective of the exercise is to enhance interoperability capabilities between military units for the purpose of planning joint defensive operations against potential threats, ensuring the security of strategically important economic and energy infrastructures of the region, transport corridors, as well as other international projects.

​At the conclusion of the conference, it was announced that the training objectives had been agreed upon and the preparatory phase of the exercise had been completed, and the final protocol was signed.

It should be noted that the Eternity-2026 exercise will take place in November of this year in Azerbaijan.
