A new decision has been signed, related to labor pensions in Azerbaijan

Amendments have been made to the "Rules for the appointment, calculation, recalculation, transfer from one type to another and payment of labor pensions" approved by Resolution No. 175 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 28, 2022.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.

According to the amendment, the recalculation of the labor pension is carried out based on the pension capital accumulated on the date of application in the insurance part of the personal account of a working pensioner from the same date, and for a non-working pensioner - from the day the person transitions to the category of a non-working pensioner, but not more than three years prior to the date of application.

The recalculation of labor pension based on wages (state salary) in connection with the dismissal from work of persons whose seniority allowances to labor pension are paid at 50% or suspended, is carried out on the basis of a certificate, the form of which is defined in Appendix No. 3 to these Rules, provided by the relevant state authority.
