60 new electric buses have been put into operation in Nakhchivan
On August 11, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva inspected new electric buses that will be put into service in the city of Nakhchivan and reviewed the reconstruction works of the railway infrastructure of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
As reported by Baku TV, following the visit of the head of state, 60 new electric buses meeting the most modern standards were put into operation.
It should be noted that thanks to the implementation of this project, high-quality service can be provided to 4.5 million passengers per year along nine route lines in the city of Nakhchivan.
Bus movement will be tracked in real time through a monitoring center, which will ensure control over the safe and uninterrupted transportation of passengers.
