Traffic will be temporarily restricted on a number of streets in Baku

In order to ensure safe and comfortable movement of citizens, repair work will be carried out on a number of roads in Baku.

This was announced by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (SAAAR).

Taking into account the current condition of the road surface, repairs are planned at the following locations:

- Nariman Narimanov Avenue (from the U-turn at the intersection with Abdulla Shaig Street to Gurban Khalilov Street);

- Tabriz Street (on the section between Koroglu Rahimov Street and Izaddin Hasanoglu Street - in the direction of the "Nariman Narimanov" metro station).

Due to the works being carried out, from 23:00 on April 22 to 17:00 on April 23, vehicle traffic on the specified sections will be partially restricted.

"We ask drivers to treat the ongoing works with understanding, strictly follow the requirements of temporary road signs and traffic rules," the statement said.
