In Azerbaijan, a woman donated her kidney to her husband.
As reported by Oxu.Az, Ganja resident Namig Seidov (born 1975) developed health problems. To improve his condition, doctors recommended a kidney transplant.
His wife, Irada Seidova (born 1976), voluntarily decided to become a donor.
The respective operations were successful.
It should be noted that N. Seidov is a veteran of the first Karabakh war.
