How long will the foggy weather last?

As of 09:00, foggy weather has settled in Azerbaijan.

As reported to BAKU.WS by the National Hydrometeorological Service, this expected atmospheric phenomenon is associated with synoptic conditions: during the day, its formation is facilitated by increased air temperature, and at night - by cooling of the surface layer and temperature decrease.

Fog is observed in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in Naftalan, Shamkir, Ganja, Balakan, Gusar, Shamakhi, Gobustan, Barda, Goychay, Zardab, Imishli, Kurdamir, Jafarkhan, Yevlakh, Terter, Mingachevir, Bilasuvar and Agdam. Visibility is limited in some places to 50-200 meters.

It is expected that the foggy weather will continue intermittently throughout the country until November 15.
