From this date the month of Ramadan begins in Azerbaijan

The sacred month of Ramadan begins on February 19 in Azerbaijan.

As Report informs, the nights of predestination (Laylat al-Qadr) will be especially revered this year, falling on March 8, 10, 12, and 16.

Note that the holy month will end with the celebration of Ramadan Bayram (Eid al-Fitr), which will be observed on the 1st and 2nd of the month of Shawwal (March 20 and 21).

We remind you that during the holy month of Ramadan, the month of mercy and compassion, charity is especially encouraged - hosting iftar meals, helping those in need, lonely people, orphanages, the elderly and aged. One of the important manifestations of fasting is the payment of zakat al-fitr, which is performed on the last day of Ramadan.
