Applications have opened in Azerbaijan for studying abroad under the State Program

Azerbaijan has launched the acceptance of documents for studying abroad under the State Program, which opens young people's access to the world's leading universities.

As reported by BAKU.WS, starting today, applications have opened for the 2026/2027 academic year under the State Program "Education of Youth at Prestigious Foreign Universities for 2022–2028."

According to information from the Program's Managing Group, applicants can submit documents for bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs until June 5, 18:00.

One of the key conditions for participation is having confirmation of enrollment at a university or educational program included in the approved list. The updated list of universities and programs was presented on January 12.

At the same time, candidates admitted to universities ranked in the top 10 of global rankings — such as Times Higher Education, QS World University Rankings, and Shanghai Ranking — may apply for participation in the program even if their specialty is not included in the main list.
