SOCAR Midstream conducted a tree planting campaign

SOCAR Midstream Operations LLC organized a tree planting campaign near the Mushfigabad settlement in Absheron district. The event, held jointly with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, was attended by employees of both organizations and ministry volunteers.

As reported by BAKU.WS, as part of the campaign held in an area allocated for landscaping at the 30th km of the Baku-Shamakhi road, a total of 625 trees were planted on an area of 1 hectare. Taking into account the climatic characteristics of the territory, seedlings of Eldar pine and olive trees were selected, and a drip irrigation system was installed to ensure uninterrupted water supply for the trees.

The campaign is one of SOCAR's initiatives aimed at protecting and improving the environment in the country.

Farkhan Aliyev, Executive Director of SOCAR Midstream Operations LLC, thanked the participants of the campaign and noted that such events make an important contribution to increasing the area of green spaces in our country.

SOCAR Midstream Operations LLC was registered on July 24, 2014, and currently the company represents SOCAR's strategic shareholding rights and interests in oil pipelines and related facilities.
