The first entrance exam after the liberation of territories will be held in Khankendi.
51 applicants will take the entrance exam in the city of Khankendi, which will be the first such event in the liberated territories after the end of the Second Karabakh War.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the State Examination Center (SEC), the exam will be held at Karabakh University. The exam will be attended by applicants living not only in Khankendi, but also in Khojaly, Agdere, Shusha and Lachin. In addition, current year graduates from M. Ulugbek school in Fizuli, M. Mehdizade school in Jabrayil and the secondary school of Agali village in Zangilan will also take entrance exams in Khankendi.
It should be noted that applicants and their accompanying parents are allowed to travel to the city of Khankendi upon presentation of examination documents and identity documents. This event has special historical significance, symbolizing the revival of the educational system in the region, which had been under occupation for many years.
After the liberation of Karabakh as a result of the 44-day war in 2020, Azerbaijani authorities are actively restoring the infrastructure of the region, including educational institutions.
