Almost 6000 dollars for a spiritual journey: details of Hajj for Azerbaijanis

Azerbaijan received 1250 quotas for Hajj: dates and cost of pilgrimage announced The Caucasus Muslims Board (CMB) has allocated 1250 quota places for Azerbaijani pilgrims wishing to perform Hajj this year.

This was announced by Vusal Jahangiri, head of the external relations department of the CMB and the person responsible for the Electronic Hajj System. According to him, in addition to pilgrims, the delegation also includes 12 administrative staff and a medical team who will accompany the believers during the sacred journey.

It is worth noting that the first group of pilgrims will depart for Hajj on May 25. The last group is scheduled for May 31. The main Hajj rituals will take place on June 4. Immediately upon arrival, pilgrims will perform the first rituals - Umrah Tamattu. After that, individual prayers and worship are scheduled until June 4. The cost of the pilgrimage package per person is 5,950 US dollars.

In Azerbaijan, June 6-7 have been declared non-working days in connection with the celebration of Eid al-Adha.
