Russian President Vladimir Putin is definitely not preparing for a ceasefire and the war in general. Russians are moving their troops and equipment to begin new offensive operations.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the evening address of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to him, today he heard an intelligence report about what Putin is counting on and what he is really preparing for.

"He is definitely not preparing for a ceasefire and war. Putin is only focused on presenting a meeting with the US leadership as his personal victory and continuing to act as before, putting pressure on Ukraine," the Ukrainian leader noted.

Zelensky claims that there is not a single sign that the Russians have received signals to prepare for a post-war situation.

"On the contrary, they are moving their troops and forces in such a way as to start new offensive operations. If someone is preparing for peace, they don't do this. We continue to inform partners about the real situation on the battlefield, in diplomacy, and in Russian planning for further actions," Zelensky added.

Recall that on August 15, a meeting between Trump and Putin is scheduled to take place in Alaska.
