Zelensky reacted to Trump's unexpected statement

Ukraine and the United States continue to work on a draft agreement on security guarantees, which does not address the issue of Ukraine's NATO membership.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to "Interfax-Ukraine," this was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a conversation with journalists.
According to him, Ukrainian and American lawyers are currently working on the document. Zelensky also commented on Donald Trump's recent statement that the agreement is allegedly related to Ukraine's possible NATO membership.
"Regarding this agreement and the NATO issue, it is not and has never been in the document," the president emphasized.
The security guarantees agreement is at an early stage of discussion. Initially, it was planned to sign a framework document, but recently the United States offered Ukraine a full-fledged version of the agreement.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that he "heard from journalists" about Zelensky's intention to make a deal with the US for "NATO membership or something similar."
