Woman in Thailand accidentally finds 29 million rubles in a garbage dump

In Thailand, a woman accidentally found a plastic container with 12 million baht (more than 29 million rubles) in a garbage dump.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Lenta.ru, the incident occurred on June 5 in the Pakkret district, Nonthaburi province. A woman named Usa called the police in the evening and reported that she found money in a garbage room on the fourth floor of her residential complex. She returned home in the evening and noticed an abandoned plastic container on her floor. It was almost new, and Usa decided to take it for herself. However, inside were stacks of 1,000 baht banknotes (2,400 rubles). There was a lot of money, the Thai woman got scared and called the police.

Law enforcement officers examined the container and, in addition to money, found tax documents inside and another official paper referring to the Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission. The name Tawiwat was indicated on all documents.

The police officers also managed to find the name of the bank from which the money was withdrawn. It turned out that they were issued in 2020. Investigators are now trying to find the owner of the large sum and find out how it ended up in the trash.
