US Authorities Arrested an Uber Driver Who Set Fire to Hollywood Stars' Villas

American law enforcement officers detained a 29-year-old Uber driver on suspicion of involvement in arson at celebrities' villas in Hollywood. This was reported by NBC News.
According to investigators, the detained Jonathan Rinderknecht set fire in the Lachman area on New Year's Eve. Images were found on his phone that presumably confirm his participation in the incident. After firefighters thought the fire was extinguished, the flames continued to spread underground and eventually reached Hollywood.
Passengers whom the man drove at the end of his shift noted that he looked irritated and agitated. It is believed that after finishing work, Rinderknecht visited a friend, and then committed arson while listening to music by a French rapper who was burning things in his music video. After that, he tried to call rescuers, but the call didn't go through due to poor connection. On January 7, the fire, likely caused by his actions, reached Hollywood.
