Ukraine announced the final stage of returning the bodies of fallen UAF soldiers

Russia handed over the bodies of another 1245 fallen Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen to Ukraine.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Rbc.ru, Ukraine has received more than 6,000 bodies as part of the Istanbul agreements. The transfer of bodies was confirmed by the head of the Russian negotiating group Vladimir Medinsky.

"Russia has fulfilled the promises made in Istanbul: in total, 6060 bodies of fallen officers and soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been transferred to the Ukrainian side. We have received 78 of our fallen from their side," Medinsky reported.

The Ukrainian headquarters expressed gratitude to the International Committee of the Red Cross for assistance in the process of their repatriation.
