Ukraine and the US are preparing for negotiations on an important agreement: dates announced

A Ukrainian delegation, which will include deputy ministers of economy and justice, will head to Washington for negotiations on a resource agreement with the US. The visit of Ukrainian officials is scheduled for April 11-12.

This is reported by the American agency Bloomberg.

Agency sources note that the upcoming negotiations will focus on Ukraine's post-war plans for developing mineral deposits and restoring infrastructure that has been severely damaged as a result of Russian aggression.

Despite the fact that the delegation will not include "higher level" politicians, negotiations with President Donald Trump's administration at this stage require technical consultations, which will be conducted by deputy ministers. Kyiv is counting on better terms in the expected deal, which, according to some reports, may obligate Ukraine to transfer to the US half of future revenues from a significant part of its economy.
