As reported by American media, this statement was made by the head of the White House, Donald Trump, commenting on the decision of European countries to refuse to provide assistance in the war with Iran.
"So we spent all this money - probably 600… I think we were spending 600 billion dollars a year, right? Think about it: the amounts we spend on NATO are just crazy, and they didn't help us," he told reporters at his residence.
According to the president, since Washington may not receive help "in small matters," it also has the right to refuse to provide it.
It was previously reported that D. Trump called Europe's refusal to help the US with the Islamic republic "stupid."
