Trump thanked Putin for words about Nobel Prize
US President Donald Trump thanked his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin by sharing footage of his statements today about the Nobel Prize.
The US leader posted the corresponding publication on Truth Social.
"Thank you President Putin," he wrote.
As a reminder, Putin stated at a press conference in Tajikistan that it is not for him to judge whether Donald Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, while emphasizing that he "is really doing a lot to resolve complex crises."
Today, the Nobel Prize committee awarded the peace prize to former Venezuelan parliament deputy, opposition politician María Corina Machado. US President Donald Trump's candidacy was also nominated for the prize.
