Trump proposed including Iran in the sanctions bill against Russia

Republicans in the U.S. Senate should supplement the sanctions bill against Russia by adding restrictive measures against Iran.

This was stated on Sunday by American President Donald Trump.

"Republicans should add Iran to the Russia sanctions bill," he wrote on the social network Truth Social.

According to the president, such an addition would have been desired by the late Senator Lindsey Graham, who was the initiator of the anti-Russian sanctions proposals.

"That is exactly what will happen, it is important," Trump added, speaking about the measures against Iran.
