Israel and Lebanon have agreed to a ceasefire.
This was announced by US President Donald Trump on Truth Social.
According to the head of the White House, he held phone conversations with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"The two leaders agreed that in the interest of achieving peace between their countries, they would officially begin a 10-day ceasefire at 5:00 PM Eastern Time (01:00 Baku time, April 17 - ed.)", Trump wrote.
