Trump: Iran wants to resume negotiations

US President Donald Trump stated that Iran wants to resume negotiations on its nuclear program, and Washington is ready for them.
As TASS reports, Trump stated this while answering a journalist's question during a meeting with the Prime Minister, Crown Prince of Bahrain Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
"They want negotiations, they really want negotiations," Trump stated. "We're not in a hurry, because we said a deal could have already been reached. They should have gone for a deal, and then we bombed them in several places," the American leader continued.
"We're not in a hurry. But if they want negotiations, we are ready for them," the White House head emphasized.
As reported by the Axios portal on Tuesday, citing sources, the US, UK, Germany, and France have agreed to set the end of August as the deadline for concluding a nuclear deal with Iran, otherwise Tehran "will face tough sanctions."
