The US is preparing to sign an agreement with Iran in Geneva
The U.S. Air Force is transporting equipment to Geneva that will be needed in the event of U.S. Vice President JD Vance's arrival there to sign a memorandum of understanding with Iran.
This was reported by Axios journalist Barak Ravid, citing an informed source.
"U.S. Air Force planes headed to Europe to deliver equipment in case Vance arrives in Geneva for a signing ceremony," he wrote on Friday on the social media platform X.
According to the journalist, the U.S. and Iran have indeed agreed on the text of the deal, but final approval from both sides has not yet been given.
