The largest container hub in the Caspian Sea basin has begun operations in Aktau
Container hub was put into operation ahead of schedule. It was built on the instructions of the head of state, which was given in September 2023.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to "Kazakhstan Railways", the project was implemented by a subsidiary of "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" - KTZ Express in cooperation with one of the largest ports in China - Lianyungang and Aktau International Sea Trade Port.
The new hub will strengthen Kazakhstan's transit potential on East-West and North-South routes. Modern logistics infrastructure with advanced technologies will accelerate container processing.
