Security forces detained the head of the Karabudakhkent district of Dagestan, Makhmud Amiraliev.
As Oxu.Az reports, this was announced by the TASS news agency citing the republic's security forces.
"Amiraliev was detained in a criminal case on fraud. He is a relative of [ex-State Secretary of Dagestan] Magomed-Sultan Magomedov," the agency's source said.
