The death toll from floods in Nepal has exceeded 330 people

The flooding that occurred in the northern regions of Nepal has claimed the lives of 332 people.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced to The Kathmandu Post by police spokesperson Abi Narayan Kafle.

According to available information, the largest number of bodies was found in the Chitwan and East Nawalparasi districts, where police and security services continue search and rescue operations.

At least 558 people are considered missing as a result of a landslide at the "Gyirong" border crossing on the China-Nepal border.

As reported by Report, this was announced by China Central Television.

According to the published data, of the 558 missing, 260 are foreign nationals.

The Nepalese authorities have meanwhile intensified search and rescue operations in the affected areas in the north of the country.

The regular army has already delivered essential food supplies, tents, and aid items, including medicines, to the affected areas.
