The creator of the "Saw" films has died

Well-known director and producer Jason Constantine has died at the age of 56 after a prolonged battle with a serious illness. This was reported by the Los Angeles Times.
According to the publication, the co-president of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group died in his own home in Los Angeles. The cause of death of the 55-year-old filmmaker was brain cancer.
Constantine went down in cinema history as the person who gave life to the legendary "Saw" franchise when he approved the pilot project of the future hit in 2004. A tragic coincidence was that the main antagonist of the series, John Kramer, played by Tobin Bell, also suffered from a malignant brain tumor. At the time of his death, the producer was actively working on the eleventh part of the famous horror saga. In addition to "Saw," Constantine made significant contributions to the creation of such popular franchises as "John Wick," "The Expendables," and "Knives Out."
