Serious violations detected in Azerbaijan's food market
Food market located in Salyan district was inspected.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the press service of the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan (FSAA), during the control measure, it was established that pickles, jams, dairy products and raw chicken meat were sold at the market in unsanitary conditions and without the necessary documents. In addition, fish and meat products were sold outside refrigerators.
Monitoring showed that the market does not meet sanitary-hygienic and sanitary-technical requirements, there is no equipment for proper storage of products and maintenance of temperature regime.
It is noted that the main purpose of such inspections is to protect public health and ensure safe food products. Control over compliance with requirements and elimination of identified violations is the responsibility of the market management.
