After a powerful earthquake in Istanbul, schools will be closed on April 24-25.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to TRT News, this was announced by the Minister of National Education of Turkey, Yusuf Tekin.
"Only two schools were damaged as a result of the earthquake. No other problems were identified. I spoke with the Minister of Internal Affairs. Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, educational institutions will be closed. This is being done considering that schools may be needed as gathering points for citizens," said the minister.
