Putin ordered to suspend strikes on Kyiv - REASON

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered that no strikes be carried out on Kyiv for three days starting from midnight today. This is related to the preparation and conduct of contacts by American negotiators there.

This was reported by TASS, citing the Russian leader's press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

"Indeed, such information was received from the Ukrainian side. The President of Russia, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Putin, has ordered that starting from midnight today, no strikes be carried out on Kyiv for three days. This is related to the preparation and conduct of American contacts in Kyiv," he said.

Earlier, Ukrainian media reported that a ceasefire regime had been announced in the Armed Forces of Ukraine from midnight on September 5 until September 8.
