Protests in Nepal have spread to the border with India
Protests erupted on the Nepal-India border, causing checkpoints to be blocked.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to India Today channel, protesters set fire to police posts.
Anti-government unrest continues for the second consecutive day in the capital and several other cities of Nepal. Amid the protests, Prime Minister Sharma Oli resigned. Demonstrators also set fire to government buildings, including the parliament, Supreme Court, and prosecutor's office.
There are also reports of attacks on homes of politicians and officials. In one such incident, the wife of former Prime Minister Jana Nath Khanal was killed.
