Phone exploded like a bomb while charging: incident in Turkey
In Turkey, a mobile phone battery left charging unexpectedly exploded. Relevant services were immediately mobilized to the scene.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the emergency occurred at night in the Yenişehir residential complex, built for earthquake victims in the Gölbaşı settlement. A mobile phone of one of the residents, left connected to the power grid for charging, suddenly exploded. After receiving the signal, police, fire brigades, emergency service personnel (AFAD), as well as emergency teams for gas and electricity supply were dispatched to the incident area.
Specialists who arrived at the scene immediately took the necessary safety measures and began investigating the circumstances of the incident.
Fortunately, there were no injuries from the explosion.
