Media: US and Israel struck Kharg Island and a railway bridge in Iran

The Iranian island of Kharg, where the Islamic Republic's main oil loading terminals are located, was subjected to a series of airstrikes by the United States and Israel.

According to its information, several explosions were heard on the island. However, the agency does not provide precise information about the damage, casualties, or the specific facilities that were struck.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump, in an interview with The Financial Times, did not rule out that the United States would attempt to seize Kharg Island and also stated that Washington has many options for action. The American leader also expressed confidence that the U.S. could very easily take the island.

The agency also reports that at least two people were killed in the Iranian city of Kashan (Isfahan Province) as a result of U.S. and Israeli strikes on the "Yahya-Abad" railway bridge. According to the information, three more people were injured. Social media and local sources in Iran report a powerful explosion.
